In Episode 49, Those Crazy Bible Study Guys see how Jesus is in a situation that would draw a large amount of criticism...having dinner with a despised sinner - a tax collector!   Not only does he dine with the tax collector and his friends and co-workers (other tax collectors) but actually asked him to be on his leadership team (be one of his disciples).  
This act of bringing someone who was despised by society (tax collectors), due to their reputation of being dishonest and cheating people of their money, reminds us of Jesus' powerful message of mercy and grace.  And then Matthew's immediate response to Jesus' call was to share his transformation with his friends and co-workers!
