In this milestone 300th episode the hosts celebrate the journey, thank listeners, and invite them to share and connect. They read and discuss Luke 22:24–38, exploring a tense moment at the Last Supper when the disciples argue about who is greatest.
Jesus teaches that true leadership in God’s kingdom is humble service, not worldly status—echoing the foot-washing example—and warns of coming trials. The episode covers Jesus’ prediction of Judas’ betrayal and Peter’s denial, and how Satan seeks to sift the disciples like wheat.
The hosts unpack the confusing sword imagery and practical instructions Jesus gives, and emphasize the difference between failure and finality: Peter falters but is restored and becomes a leader, while repentance makes the decisive difference.
Through prayer and personal application, they encourage listeners to adopt a servant’s heart, learn from mistakes, and keep their focus on Christ. The episode closes with gratitude, a prayer, and a call to share the gospel and the podcast.
