In this episode we start with a light personal anecdote about coffee and missing honey, then move into a reading and discussion of Luke 23:35–43. The hosts walk through the crucifixion scene where Jesus is mocked, a sign labels him "King of the Jews," and two criminals hang beside him—one who taunts and one who turns in faith.
The conversation focuses on the powerful moment when the dying criminal asks Jesus to remember him, and Jesus replies, "Today you will be with me in paradise." The hosts explore themes of grace, last‑minute salvation, the difference between faith and works, and the assurance that Jesus sees the heart and extends mercy even at the end of life.
They also touch on historical details like Pilate’s sign, the uniqueness of Jesus’ crucifixion, and how this story illustrates that it’s never too late to turn to Christ, while encouraging listeners not to delay faith. Practical notes include an explanation of baptism as a symbol and a recommendation of Alistair Begg’s sermon "The Man on the Middle Cross."
The episode closes with a heartfelt prayer and an invitation to accept Jesus, reminding listeners that heaven will be paradise and encouraging them to share this hope with others.
