In this episode the hosts walk through Luke 22, exploring the plot of the religious leaders, Judas's betrayal when "Satan entered Judas," and the preparations for the Passover and the Last Supper. They reflect on Luke's portrait of Jesus as the "perfect man" and the model and sacrifice for humanity, emphasizing the heart behind actions and God’s larger plan.
Discussion highlights include how Luke condenses eyewitness material, the unsettling moment of Satan entering Judas, the practical details of finding the upper room, and the deeper spiritual lessons about motive, pride, and faith. Personal reflections about people-watching, prayer, and being open to God’s prompting weave through the study.
The episode combines biblical text, footnote insights, and everyday application to encourage listeners to watch their hearts, recognize God's providence in small details, and share faith with others inspired by Jesus’ example.
